Lingnan University is inviting fresh graduates from partner institutions across the world to apply for the Visiting English Tutor (VET) position. The VETs will work within the Centre for English and Additional Languages (CEAL) at Lingnan University, Hong Kong, providing English language advice, developing self-access materials, conducting workshops, and organizing academic and social events.To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be about to graduate or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Hong Kong, Lingnan partner universities, or Global Liberal Arts Alliance members
- Have an IELTS score of 8.0 or above
- Be interested in living and working in Hong Kong for at least one year
- Be interested in interacting with students from different cultural backgrounds
- Be interested in gaining experience in the tertiary education ESL field
- Have an outgoing personality
- Have a basic certificate-level teaching qualification with a minimum of 100 hours input (can be gained after receiving a provisional offer)
