La Universidad de Georgetown Busca Jóvenes Líderes de Ecuador
El Programa de
Liderazgo para la Competitividad Global
otorga becas a jóvenes líderes de los ámbitos público, empresarial y social
Quito, Ecuador – El 23 de mayo, la Universidad de Georgetown con sede en
Washington, D.C., abrió la convocatoria en busca jóvenes líderes de Ecuador.
El Programa de Liderazgo para la
Competitividad Global (GCL por sus siglas en inglés) otorga becas a jóvenes
líderes de los ámbitos públicos, empresarial y social.
“El programa GCL busca promover una nueva
generación de líderes innovadores, éticos y socialmente responsables,” señaló
Ricardo Ernst, Director Académico del Programa GCL. “Durante 10 semanas, los
participantes tienen la oportunidad de analizar e identificar oportunidades y
desafíos regionales a través de cursos multidisciplinarios y deben desarrollar
un proyecto de alto impacto para llevar a cabo cuando regresen a su país.”
A la fecha, el Programa GCL ha
impactado a 359 líderes emergentes de 19 países de la región Ibero-Americana. Un
gran número de los egresados ocupan cargos importantes en empresas promoviendo
prácticas socialmente responsables y en gobiernos impulsando nuevas visiones de
colaboración para generar políticas públicas innovadoras e integrales. Otros
han emprendido en el sector social donde dirigen iniciativas de gran impacto.
Jóvenes interesados podrán aplicar para el Programa GCL a través de su
sitio web: www.GCL.latinamericanboard.com hasta el 25 de julio. Deben
tener entre 24 y 34 años de edad, haber estudiado una licenciatura y dominar el
idioma inglés.
El Programa GCL fue fundado por el
Latin American Board (Junta Directiva Latinoamericana) de la Universidad de
Georgetown como parte de su misión de promover mayor vinculación entre la
Universidad de Georgetown y la región.
