Del 18 al 20 de febrero pasado se llevaron a cabo las actividades enmarcadas en la Quincuagésima Cuarta Ceremonia del Comienzo de la USFQ.
Con la presencia de autoridades, profesores y familiares, cerca de 1000 nuevos graduados de pregrado y posgrado, recibieron su título profesional en emotivas ceremonias realizadas en el campus universitario. Durante los discursos se resaltó especialmente la fortaleza de las artes liberales, como base en la educación de los individuos. La USFQ es la única universidad ecuatoriana que mantiene esta filosofía de formación integral. Su trabajo en investigación la ha llevado a posicionarse entre las mejores universidades de Latinoamérica.

Abriendo las celebraciones de la Quincuagésima Cuarta Ceremonia de Graduación contamos con la presencia de la conferencista Lourdes Tibán. Líder nacional del movimiento indígena, ex legisladora nacional y actual presidenta de la Fundación Intercultural de Acción Social y Derechos Humanos “MAMA LULÚ”
